D’anjou Pear

Fall + pears, like salt + pepper, right? I like to slice these and drop them into some butter lettuce, add walnuts, olive oil, salt, pepper and vinegar. Late summer I discovered Pomegranate White Balsamic Vinegar made by Sonoma Harvest (in Sonoma, CA) and it’s perfect with this easy salad, as it adds sweetness and tartness but does not overpower the pear nor the greens. Y-U-M.
